About us
Field Technician & Warehouse Operator (BE)
We’re looking for an all-around technician who feels just as at home on the road and at customer sites as they do in our warehouse in Haasrode. Ready to help us build our growth story in Belgium?
What's in it for you?
As a jack-of-all-trades who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty, you’ll play a crucial role at a fast-growing scale-up. Because behind every flawless installation, service call, and smoothly running warehouse lies a premium customer experience—and it all starts with you.
You work for a company with a clear mission: to eliminate single-use packaging, promote sustainable hydration, and provide the ultimate healthy beverage alternative in the workplace. So your work not only has a technical impact—it also makes a difference in society.
You’ll be joining a close-knit, ambitious, and hardworking team where quality and the customer experience are top priorities. Your role is hybrid: part of the week you’ll be on-site with customers, and the rest of the time you’ll be the key player in our warehouse in Haasrode—where you’ll help organize operations, assemble machines, and ensure quality. As the first point of contact for our customers, you’ll be provided with a well-equipped van, work with modern equipment, and help build a strong brand in Belgium, the Netherlands, and far beyond. And of course, there’s also room for fun, team-building activities, and events!
Who are we seeking?
We are looking for an all-around technician with a dual skill set: someone who is just as comfortable on the job site as they are behind the workbench. In short, someone who enjoys working independently and is comfortable in various technical fields—or who is eager to learn more about them.
One day you’re at a customer’s site working on an installation or service call; the next day, you’re making sure our warehouse is well-organized, machines are being refurbished, and quality checks are carried out properly.
You don’t have to be an expert in everything right from the start— a willingness to learn and take responsibility is just as important. We’ll provide thorough onboarding and the necessary training.
What does this role involve?
As a hybrid technician at Dripl, you combine two roles into one position—and it’s precisely that combination that makes you unique on our team.
🔧 Field Technician (2.5 days/week)
- Installations of our Dripl Refill Points
- Repairs for technical issues (electrical, mechanical, plumbing)
- CO₂ deliveries and annual maintenance
- Frequent customer interaction, where you consistently deliver a premium customer experience
- Going the extra mile to ensure our customers are always satisfied
- Close collaboration with other technicians, Customer Care, and the Service Lead
- Proactively share insights from the field and contribute ideas for solutions
📦 Warehouse Operator (2.5 days/week)
- Organizing and monitoring operations at our warehouse in Haasrode
- Assembly and refurbishment of existing machines
- Quality control after production and before delivery
- Analyzing and optimizing our processes to work more efficiently
- Inventory management: keeping track of materials and parts so that the field team always leaves with a full supply
- Receiving and processing deliveries: inspecting goods, recording them, and storing them in the correct location
- Maintaining technical documentation for machines, parts, and service calls
As the face of Dripl to our customers and the backbone of our operations behind the scenes, you’ll have a lot of autonomy and responsibility. You’ll passionately share our mission—health and sustainability—with everyone you meet.
What do we expect from you?
We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty and puts the customer first. A background or degree in electrical engineering, electromechanics, or plumbing is a plus, but by no means a requirement. Motivation, a willingness to learn, and a good fit with Dripl’s values matter more to us than a degree or years of experience.
What else we expect:
- You are fluent in Dutch (French and English are a plus)
- You have a Class B driver's license
- You don't mind spending a lot of time in a car or van
- Ideally, you live in the Leuven–Brussels–Mechelen area
- You are available full-time (40 hours)
- You work set hours, but can be flexible in exceptional cases
- You enjoy working independently and taking ownership
- You are customer-focused, a good communicator, and solution-oriented
Internal training and onboarding are, of course, provided.
Practicals
- Contract: negotiable (employment or self-employment options available)
- Duration: Indefinite or fixed-term with the possibility of extension
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Stock options (equity participation in Dripl)
- Competitive compensation package
- Vacation days: 20 statutory + 12 additional ADV days
- Warehouse Location: Haasrode
- Region: Flanders
- Van: provided by Dripl for days on the road, along with a fuel card
- Start: as soon as possible
