Dripl Case: Visma Amsterdam

Wondering how Visma in Amsterdam with over 100 employees is drinking Dripl? Find out how they made the switch to packaging-free soft drinks, how it was received by their team, and what it yielded - from less COβ‚‚ to more chatter at the Refill Point!

Meet Visma ❀️

  • Sector: business software development
  • Number of employees: 100+ (Amsterdam location)
  • Location(s): Amsterdam, headquarters
  • Employer mission: To create a hybrid workplace where innovation, well-being and sustainability come together.

Visma Software, a Norwegian software company with a strong focus on SMEs, provides accounting and financial administration solutions. In July 2023, they installed their first Dripl Refill Point in Amsterdam as a step toward a healthier, more sustainable workplace.

Challenge: Healthy choices in a hybrid workplace

Elly Oderkerk, facilities officer, explains:

"Hybrid working gives our employees flexibility, but it also requires additional efforts to maintain a connected and healthy office environment."

Visma wanted:

  • Sustainability: Reduced waste and carbon emissions by eliminating disposable packaging.
  • Accessibility: A hassle-free solution for healthier beverages without the hassle of transportation or storage.
  • Connectedness: Create an attractive office environment that brings employees together, even in a hybrid work model.

The Solution: Dripl Refill Points πŸ’§

To address these challenges, Visma chose a Dripl Refill Point, supported by a well-planned implementation and catchy onboarding activities. After all, we want to get everyone on board, right?

Pre-onboarding: this is how to create buzz

Before installation, Dripl provided a thorough induction campaign:

  1. Informational emails: Newsletters that prepared employees for the arrival of the Refill Point and explained how it works.
  2. Taste tests: Employees had the opportunity to taste and vote on their favorite flavors.
  3. Visual Activation: Posters and screen announcements that generated curiosity with slogans such as "Tap into something new!"

Launch Day: Flavors, workshops and more

  • Tasting event: Employees were able to try all Dripl flavors and choose their favorites right away.
  • Mocktail Workshops: To show that healthier drinking can also be fun and delicious.
  • Interactive communication: Dripl ambassadors were on hand to answer questions and give employees directions.

Post-launch: A lasting impact

After the launch, the Dripl Refill Point became part of Visma's culture. They did this with:

  • Regular updates: Newsletters kept the refill point and all sustainability topics alive.
  • Flavors in the spotlight: With the "flavor of the month" concept, employees were surprised each time.

Measurable impact πŸ₯Š

  • Packaging avoided: 18,935
  • COβ‚‚ emissions saved: 231 kg COβ‚‚e
  • Favorite flavor: Iced tea, fizzy

Why choose Dripl?

  1. Healthy 🍎 Soft drinks without sugar or calories.
  2. Sustainable 🌱 No packaging, less transportation.‍
  3. Simple πŸ‘Œ A flexible system that perfectly complements hybrid workstations!
